Well, we guess it was only a matter of time…

Eddie Cibrian and wife of eight years Brandi Glanville officially filed for divorce on Aug. 24 just days after he and singer LeAnn Rimes’ very public golf date. 

On Tuesday, Glanville said:

“[He] filed yesterday, and I accepted it.  We’re getting a divorce. We talked to each other yesterday.”

Rumors of an affair have been circulating since March that Rimes, who separated from her husband Dean Sheremet last month, and Cibrian were dating.

At the time, Cibrian said:

“It is a fabricated story that is using random snapshots as connective tissue to create a scandalous relationship.”

Hmmm…doesn’t seem so random now…does it, Eddie?

Cibrian’s jilted wife is not going quietly when it comes to her cheating ex.

“They’re
going on vacation this weekend to Mexico … I’m looking forward to
seeing those pictures…You think you know one thing and you wake up and it’s all
been a lie.”

“It’s just over for me. We’re both happy. This is going to be good.”
