After his second DUI arrest, actor Chris Klein voluntarily
checked into a treatment facility…and it looks like he’s extending his stay.

The American Pie star, whose been at the Cirque Lodge in Utah since June
21st, has already completed more than 30 days, but a rep for the star tells
PEOPLE:

“Chris, along with his support team, has decided to
extend his treatment. He is doing fantastic and is optimistic about his future.
He thanks everyone for their continued support.”

The
31-year-old actor was arrested for his second DUI on June 16 in LA after a
California Highway Patrol saw him weaving westbound on the Hollywood Freeway.

Officials
say his blood alcohol leval was nearly three times the legal limit.

Klein is
due in court on August 23^rd.
